Jack Payne: Leyton Orient sign Peterborough midfielder on loan

Leyton Orient have signed midfielder Jack Payne from Peterborough United on a season-long loan, with the option to make it a permanent deal.

"Jack needs to get up to speed having not played much this season but he will be a good addition," Orient head coach Ian Hendon told the club website.

Payne could play in the Football League Trophy tie with Luton on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old played 90 games for Peterborough after joining the club from Gillingham in June 2013.
