Elliott Ward made three appearances for Bournemouth last season

Huddersfield have signed Bournemouth defender Elliott Ward on a 28-day loan.

The 30-year-old has not featured for the Cherries this campaign and made just three appearances last season.

He could make his debut for the Terriers, who are without a win this season, in Saturday's trip to Cardiff.

"I think I now have good experience of what the Championship is all about and what it takes to win games and get up the division," Ward told the club website.
