Borussia Monchengladbach's resurgence in the Bundesliga continued as they beat Wolfsburg.

Lucien Favre quit as Monchengladbach coach last month after they lost their first five league matches.

But under interim boss Andre Schubert they have now won three consecutive league games to climb up to 13th in the table.

Haavard Nordtveit put the hosts ahead before fellow midfielder Ibrahima Traore netted a second.

Vedad Ibisevic's brace helped Hertha Berlin to a 3-0 home win over Hamburg, while Hannover beat Werder Bremen 1-0.

Kevin Volland scored twice in Hoffenheim's 2-2 home draw with Stuttgart, who remain bottom of the table.

Ingolstadt maintained their impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, while on Friday Mainz won 3-2 at Darmstadt.

Leaders Bayern Munich host second-placed Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
