Irish Premiership: Portadown 3-2 Carrick Rangers
- Published
Ken Oman scored two late headers to snatch victory for 10-man Portadown against Carrick Rangers.
Carrick were 2-0 up inside the opening half hour as Miguel Chines slotted in a back-post opener and Conor McCloskey headed in from a corner.
Gary Twigg shot past Carrick keeper Brian Neeson in the 52nd minute but the Ports then had sub Gary Breen sent-off for a two-footed challenge.
Despite that, the struggling Ports recovered for a much-needed victory.
Oman nodded in from a Ross Redman free-kick in the 71st minute and deep into stoppage time grabbed the winner with a similar set-piece move.
The result ended a run of four Premiership defeats for Ronnie McFall's Ports.
They remain in seventh place with Carrick in tenth.
