Scotland women's coach Anna Signeul has called up uncapped goalkeeper Lee Alexander for the Euro 2017 qualifier against Macedonia.

The 24-year-old was part of the Glasgow City side that won the domestic treble this year.

Hibernian Ladies midfielder Joelle Murray, 29, returns to the squad.

Signeul's team, top of Group 1 with nine points out of nine, host Macedonia at St Mirren Park in Paisley on 29 November.

"I think it is great for her," said Signeul of Alexander's inclusion.

"We have a lot of good goalkeepers and I think it is great to see because before goalkeeper was a weakness in women's football.

"We still think Gemma [Fay] and Shannon [Lynn] maybe are the two best goalkeepers but we would definitely like to give Lee the opportunity because we think she is worth it.

"The older she has got the more she has put into her own football and I think it is great to see. She now is really dedicated."
