Ten-man Bayern Munich secured their place in the Champions League knockout stage with a comfortable win over Group F rivals Olympiakos.

The German champions scored three times in the first 20 minutes with Douglas Costa drilling in the first.

Robert Lewandowski fired in the second and it was 3-0 when Thomas Muller tapped in from an Arjen Robben header.

Holger Badstuber was dismissed for a foul on Brown Ideye before 19-year-old Kingsley Coman headed in the fourth.

Pep Guardiola's side have 12 points with one match to play at Dinamo Zagreb, while Greek club Olympiakos, in second place on nine points, will definitely progress to the last 16 if they take a point against Arsenal at home and may do so even if defeated.

"We had a lot of possession and that is why we defended so high up. We can quickly win back possession," Bayern captain Philipp Lahm said.

"Then we had the situation with Holger which is a shame for him but we cannot do anything about it."
