Premier League predictions: Lawro v Justin Moorhouse
- Published
BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.
Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is comedian and Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse.
Moorhouse is a lifelong Manchester United fan who once lost his little brother in a Stretford End melee and has worked with his hero Eric Cantona on the film 'Looking for Eric', but he is far from enamoured with the current brand of football under manager Louis van Gaal.
"Please someone, wake me up! It's soporific stuff at the moment," he said.
"Van Gaal is an extremely confident man, an expert coach and his 'philosophy' has proved to be a success around the world. It is just incredibly dull to watch.
"It's the most boring football I've ever seen at Old Trafford and I'd rather be on the edge of my seat than at the top of the table. I could accept this football if we were 10 points clear at the top but struggling to finish fourth and still playing the worst football of all time is just… I've just given up on him."
Unsurprisingly, Moorhouse believes Van Gaal's side will be held to yet another goalless draw at home to Norwich this weekend.

Last week, Lawro got four correct results from 10 Premier League games, including one perfect score.
His score of 70 points saw him beat indie band Mumford & Sons, who scored 40 points with four correct results.
