Gareth McGlynn is set for a third spell with Derry City after signing for the Brandywell club for the 2016 season.
The midfielder made his debut for the Candystripes in 2001 but left to join Bohemians in 2010, before returning for the 2011 season.
The 33-year-old, who has won the FAI Cup twice and the League Cup five timers with Derry, emigrated to Australia later that year.
Derry will open their league campaign against Finn Harps on Friday 4 March.
New manager Kenny Shiels last month added 31-year-old former Northern Ireland striker Rory Patterson to his squad.
Patterson was making his return to the club just 11 months after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Shiels has also signed Scottish pair Jordan Allen and Harry Monaghan.
