Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that midfielder Ben Gladwin's loan at Bristol City has been terminated.

Gladwin, 23, joined on a three-month deal in January but returned to QPR for treatment on a knee injury after making just one appearance for the Robins.

He is now fit again but will stay with Rangers for the rest of the campaign.

"Ben wasn't playing at Bristol City so it is better that he is here with us," QPR manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told the London club's website.

"We are heading into the last month or so of the campaign, and he is going to feature so that we can integrate him ahead of next season."

Gladwin was signed from Swindon Town along with Massimo Luongo last summer and returned there on loan in October after making just two league appearances for Rangers.

He was recalled soon after Hasselbaink was appointed manager at Loftus Road, but was promptly loaned out again.
