Manager Jayne Ludlow insists Wales' Euro 2017 qualification is still in their own hands.

Wales host Norway on 7 June in the first of three remaining home qualifiers.

Ludlow's side are third in Group 8 with only the eight group winners and six best runners-up guaranteed automatic qualification to next year's finals.

"If we win every game then it's going to give us a massive opportunity," she said.

"It's a nice opportunity to look forward to having one of the top teams in the world coming over to play is in our own backyard."

Third-placed Wales are five points behind leaders Austria and second-placed Norway, their next opponents at Newport Stadium in June.

Wales lost away in Austria and Norway, drew 2-2 in Israel and kept alive their qualification hopes with a 4-0 win in Kazakhstan in April.

"We have a hard task but the last three games are home games," Ludlow told BBC Radio Wales Sport.

"The away games have been tough at times but the team is developing every game we play and we're becoming more and more competitive with every game we play.

"I'm so looking forward to the game because of all the positive aspects we've been doing over the last few months with this senior group of players."

After hosting Norway, Ludlow's side are home to Israel on 15 September before Austria visit five days later in the final group game.
