Darko Bodul has become the latest player to exit Dundee United after their relegation from the Scottish Premiership.

The 27-year-old Sarajevo-born striker joined the Taysiders on a two-year contract in July after leaving Austrian club Rheindorf Altach.

But United have announced that he has left the club "by mutual consent".

Bodul, who also previously played for Ajax and Sturm Graz, made the last of his 12 United appearances in January.

He did not feature under now departed manager Mixu Paatelainen after a 2-1 derby defeat by Dundee at Dens Park.

United have freed 11 players and transfer-listed others as they rebuild for next season in the Championship under new manager Ray McKinnon.
