Reuben Reid: Plymouth Argyle striker says 2015-16 has been a 'write-off'

Plymouth Argyle striker Reuben Reid says he will be happy to put this season behind him after losing the League Two play-off final.
The 27-year-old, who had been Argyle's top scorer for the previous two campaigns, was dogged by injuries this term after a foot operation last year.
"My season has been a write-off from the start," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"I had surgery in the summer on my foot and, all season, I've been playing catch-up."
Reid, who has only scored seven times this season - and only once since December - says he tried to come back too quickly from his operation in an attempt to impress new manager Derek Adams.
"I'm experienced now enough that I won't let that happen again," he continued.
"I had the sutures in my foot for pre-season, they came out a week later and I was expecting my body to cope with it.
"I've ended up picking up strains because I've not been prepared for the regime we've got at Plymouth.
"It's flat out work all the time, everyone knows how important a pre-season is. For me to come back straight after surgery, without preparing for the pre-season, I've played catch-up the whole season."
Reid began his career at Argyle as a youngster before moves to Brentford, Rotherham, West Bromwich Albion, Oldham and Yeovil, and returned to the club initially on loan on 2013 as the Pilgrims battled to avoid relegation from League Two.
"I've been here on the last day of the season and nearly dropping out of the Football League," he added. "So, a couple of seasons along the line, to nearly get promoted and not do it, it's hard to take.
"You don't often get a squad like this where everyone bounces off each other.
"Everyone's cool in there together, but this is football. There are no secrets, the squad will break up, that's what happens in football at this level."
