Dave Edwards is out of the Wales squad preparing for Monday's opening 2018 World Cup qualifier against Moldova and has been replaced by Wigan's Sean MacDonald.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Edwards has a "slight" injury, according to the Football Association of Wales.

Wales are without injured midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Jonny Williams.

However, Joe Ledley and goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey are fit to play.
