Hakan Hayrettin: Braintree Town appoint new first-team manager

National League club Braintree Town have appointed Hakan Hayrettin as their new first-team manager following the departure of Jamie Day. on Sunday.
Hayrettin, 46, has previously managed Waltham Forest, Thurrock and Grays and was most recently first-team coach to John Still at Luton Town.
Braintree are currently 22nd after just two wins in 12 National League games.
"I won't promise miracles, but we'll all be working very hard to turn our fortunes around," Hayrettin said.
