FA England Women's player awards: Carney, Nobbs, Houghton and Scott shortlisted

Manchester City right-back Lucy Bronze was named England player of the year in 2015

Chelsea winger Karen Carney, Arsenal midfielder Jordan Nobbs and Manchester City duo Steph Houghton and Jill Scott have been shortlisted for the England Women's 2016 player of the year award.

Millie Bright, Danielle Carter, Alex Greenwood and Nikita Parris have been shortlisted for the young player award.

The winners will be announced at the Football Association's Women's Football Awards on Friday, 18 November.

England have qualified for Women's Euro 2017 and won their past five matches.
