Welsh Premier League champions New Saints have denied League One Shrewsbury Town have made an official approach for manager Craig Harrison.
Shrewsbury are without a manager after Micky Mellon left to join National League side Tranmere Rovers.
Ex-Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace defender Harrison has been in charge of New Saints since December 2011.
The 38-year-old has led the Saints to five Welsh Premier titles and four Welsh Cup wins.
