Jake Carroll: Cambridge United sign Hartlepool United left-back

Jake Carroll made 25 appearances for Hartlepool this season
Cambridge United have signed left-back Jake Carroll from League Two rivals Hartlepool for an undisclosed fee on a deal until June 2019.
Carroll, who can also play at centre-half, joined Hartlepool in June 2015 following his release by Huddersfield.
The 25-year-old made 74 appearances for Pools, scoring his only goal in a 3-1 win over Dagenham in March 2016.
"Jake is a player we have been tracking since the previous transfer window," said Cambridge manager Shaun Derry.
