Joe Ward: Lincoln City sign Brighton & Hove Albion winger on loan

Joe Ward has played four EFL Trophy matches for Brighton Under-21s this season

Lincoln City have signed Brighton & Hove Albion winger Joe Ward on a one-month loan deal.

Ward, 21, has played four games this season for Albion's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy.

The former Chelmsford City player will be eligible for Lincoln's FA Trophy tie at Gateshead on Saturday, but not the FA Cup replay against Ipswich Town.

He would also be ineligible should Lincoln progress to meet Albion in the fourth round.
