Kieran Green: Gateshead sign Hartlepool midfielder on year-long deal

Kieran Green signed his first football contract with Hartlepool on 1 July 2014.

Gateshead have signed midfielder Kieran Green on a one-year deal following his release by relegated League Two side Hartlepool United.

The 19-year-old returns to the Tyneside club, where he had a brief loan spell last season.

He managed to make just one appearance for Gateshead, however, after breaking his foot on his debut.

Green, who made his Hartlepool debut at the age of 17, made five first-team appearances for the club since 2014.
