Livingston scored twice in the space of six second-half minutes to beat Falkirk and move up to fourth in the Scottish Championship.
The Bairns had the best first-half chance when Alex Harris fired wide.
James Penrice intercepted a short passback and squared for Daniel Mullen to put Livi ahead.
Joshua Mullin then curled beyond Falkirk goalkeeper Robbie Thomson before the visitors had Declan Gallagher sent off in added time.
Post-match reaction
Falkirk manager Peter Houston: "It's not good enough. If you look at the stats, we had 58% of the possession, but gave away two soft goals. We've had the best chances in the first half, they had a goal disallowed which might have stood. Then three minutes into the second half, a soft pass back and we're a goal down. The way the club's going just now, it gets the fans edgy. It's my responsibility, they weren't happy and I wouldn't be happy either. I accept that. We have to work harder through it. The players are lacking confidence.
"We should be scoring. We got more joy in the second half getting in behind them. Livingston were given their goals very easily. If you miss chances and give away soft goals, you won't win matches.
"It wasn't a shouting match [afterwards]. It was a frank discussion both ways, with players having a say as to why we wait until we go behind until we up the tempo."
Livingston manager David Hopkin: "We've had a tough week, being away to Inverness then a difficult game midweek against Hibs. I told the boys I'd be changing the team, and they were magnificent for me. Defensively, we were great.
"We've a very young squad, with players who have come from part-time football, we're trying to build something here.
"Young James [Penrice] played left back or left wing back at Partick Thistle, but I decided to play him the middle of the park today and he was excellent. He has great energy and composure. In the first half we had a perfectly good goal chalked off, but we've got a great team spirit here and we all work hard for each other."
