Livingston's Dylan Mackin scored what proved to be the winning goal against Brechin City

Livingston climbed to second place in the Championship after holding on for a 3-2 win over Brechin City.

The home side opened the scoring after three minutes through Jack McMillan, only for Jordan Sinclair to equalise with a free kick for winless Brechin.

Two goals in nine minutes after the break, from Craig Halkett and Dylan Mackin, moved Livingston clear.

Kalvin Orsi gave Brechin hope in the 85th minute from the penalty, spot but their miserable season continues.
