Blackburn Rovers 3-1 Barnet
- Published
Blackburn roared back with three second-half goals to beat Barnet and avoid a shock FA Cup first-round exit.
The League Two visitors threatened an upset through Simeon Akinola's opener, but Rovers showed their class after the break with goals from Joe Nuttall, Danny Graham and Marcus Antonsson.
Blackburn had not lost at this stage since 1971 and started well, with Graham denied an opener by a superb save by Barnet goalkeeper Craig Ross.
But the Bees went ahead when Jack Taylor powered through and unselfishly squared for Akinola to tap in.
The hosts were stunned, but dominated the second half.
Ross again denied Graham, this time from point-blank range, before Nuttall equalised by rifling home Bradley Dack's pass - his second goal of the week.
Dack supplied the second by feeding Graham who hammered home his third of the season from a tight angle.
And Antonsson made the result safe with a precise 20-yard drive that found the bottom corner.

Meanwhile, Blackburn's scheduled League One home game with Walsall next Saturday (11 November) has been postponed because of international call-ups. No new date has yet been confirmed.
