Boreham Wood will play Tranmere in the National League promotion final after holding on to win at Sutton United.
Angelo Balanta's angled finish put Wood in front before Scott Doe's header deflected in off Sutton's Ross Lafayette to make it 2-0.
Tom Bolarinwa headed in from close range to pull one back but Michael Folivi bundled the ball in on the line to restore Wood's two-goal advantage.
Lafayette's stoppage-time header gave Sutton hope but Wood held on.
They were grateful to a stunning late save from goalkeeper Grant Smith from another Lafayette header to deny Sutton an equaliser as they secured the club's first trip to Wembley on Saturday, 12 May and moved to within one game of a place in the Football League for the first time.
Boreham Wood's fourth place in the table was the club's highest end-of-season position in the English football pyramid in their history, and they overcame AFC Fylde in the first round of the play-offs on Thursday to set up the trip to Sutton, who had finished third.
Tranmere reached the promotion final for the second successive season on Saturday with a 4-2 win over Ebbsfleet United after extra-time a they bid to return to League Two after a two-year absence.
