Paul McCallum and Chris Zebroski scored as Eastleigh won for the fourth time in a row, with a 2-1 victory at Braintree in the National League.
Eastleigh went ahead after 16 minutes when Mark Yeates made the most of being unmarked at the far post to head down to McCallum, who netted his fifth goal of the season from close range.
Visiting goalkeeper Max Styrjek pulled off a fine save to push a powerful shot from Mohamed Bettamer onto the bar.
Styrjek then came out to challenge the advancing Jake Bass, who shot wide after being sent clear with only the keeper to beat.
Zebroski made no mistake after 37 minutes with his first goal of the season, putting his side two-goals-in-front after rounding the Braintree keeper.
The home side pulled a goal back after 72 minutes when Bettamer headed in at the back post, but try as they might Braintree could not find an equaliser.
