31 December

Gateshead's 11-goal top scorer Luke Armstrong, 22, has been recalled from his loan by parent club Middlesbrough with immediate effect.

Solihull Moors have signed Blackpool goalkeeper Myles Boney, 20, on a month's loan.

27 December

Chesterfield have sacked manager Martin Allen after seven months in charge. The Spireites dropped into the National League relegation zone after losing 4-0 at home to Solihull Moors on Boxing Day - read more.

21 December

Solihull Moors have signed striker Nathan Blissett from Macclesfield Town for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old helped the Silkmen win the National League title last season.

Former Southend and Northampton defender Ryan Cresswell, 30, has had his contract at Eastleigh terminated by mutual consent.

Aldershot Town have signed defender Alex Finney, 22, from Maidstone United on a free transfer after agreeing an 18-month deal.

Wrexham have agreed a "short-term loan deal" with League Two club Tranmere Rovers to bring in 24-year-old forward Ben Tollitt.

20 December

Salford City have signed 31-year-old striker Matt Green from League Two Lincoln City on a two-and-a-half year deal.

Sutton United have signed striker Brett Williams, 31, on loan for a month from National League South club Torquay United.

19 December

Havant & Waterlooville captain Brian Stock will retire from playing after the 5 January game against Barrow. The 36-year-old ex-Bournemouth, Doncaster and Burnley midfielder has been with the Hawks since 2014.

17 December

Salford City defender Carl Piergianni has agreed a contract extension to run until 2021. The 26-year-old has been ever-present in the National League this season.

15 December

FC Halifax Town have signed midfielder James Ferry from Stevenage on a three-month loan deal. The 21-year-old has played 12 times in League Two this season.

14 December

Hartlepool United have signed 22-year-old defender Harvey Rodgers on a one-month loan deal from Accrington Stanley.

Southend United midfielder Joe Bedford, 21, has signed for Dover Athletic on an undisclosed-length contract.

Former police officer and Football Association compliance officer Graham Bean has been named as Chesterfield's chief executive.

Ebbsfleet United have signed 22-year-old midfielder Freddy Moncur, the son of former West Ham player John Moncur.

Havant & Waterlooville striker Alfie Rutherford has signed a new deal with the club to keep him at Westleigh Park until 2021.

11 December

Chesterfield have signed midfielder Alfie Beestin, 21, from Doncaster Rovers on a month's loan.

Leyton Orient say winger James Dayton is "likely to miss the next few months" following knee surgery. The 29-year-old has made 23 appearances this season, scoring twice.

8 December

Dover Athletic have signed central defender Scott Doe from National League South side Billericay Town.

7 December

Bromley have signed forward Zavon Hines, 29, following his release by Chesterfield. He scored in the 1-1 draw between the two sides last month.

Maidstone United have signed forward Jake Robinson from Billericay Town for an undisclosed fee. The 32-year-old former Brighton player has scored 16 goals so far this season.

The Stones have also brought in Woking defender Charlie Wassmer on a one-month loan deal.

Braintree Town forward Dan Thompson, 24, has left the club after making nine appearances this season.

Aldershot Town have signed striker Gerry McDonagh on loan from League One club Barnsley until 3 January. The 20-year-old played 22 National League games for Wrexham in 2016-17.

Maidenhead United have extended the loan of Bristol Rovers defender Alfie Kilgour until 5 January. The 20-year-old has so far made four starts for the Magpies.

6 December

Bromley have signed winger Luke Coulson, 24, from fellow National League side Ebbsfleet United on a free transfer.

Former West Ham United, Burnley and Bradford City player Zavon Hines has had his Chesterfield contract cancelled by mutual consent. The 29-year-old joined the club from Maidstone United in January.

Harrogate Town player Jordan Thewlis, 26, will be out for 12-16 weeks after suffering a ligament injury in his ankle.

5 December

Bromley have signed Grimsby Town striker JJ Hooper, 25, on a one-month loan deal.

Maidstone United have signed Sutton United goalkeeper Ross Worner on loan until the end of the season. The former AFC Wimbledon keeper, 29, has featured four times for the U's this season.

4 December

Chesterfield manager Martin Allen has made seven players available for transfer following a run of 19 National League games without a win.

Shwan Jalal has been made available for loan, Joe Anyon, Michael Nelson and Robbie Weir are available on a free transfer or loan while London-based trio Marc-Antoine Fortune, Zavon Hines and Kyel Reid are also allowed to depart.

3 December

Manager Sam Ricketts has left Wrexham to become boss at League One side Shrewsbury. The ex-Hull, Bolton and Wales defender, 37, leaves the Welsh side fourth in the table - more here.

Maidstone United have signed 19-year-old defender Jarvis Edobor on a month-long loan from Championship side Brentford.
