Aldershot Town 2-0 Havant & Waterlooville
- Published
Aldershot registered only their third win in 26 National League games as they beat fellow relegated rivals Havant & Waterlooville.
The Shots showed how the release of pressure can help a side by cruising past their struggling opponents to secure a first victory in six.
Bernard Mensah feigned past his marker Ryan Woodford from a Matt McClure cross and steered Gary Waddock's side in front in the 14th minute.
Mensah, who had a second goal ruled out for offside, returned the favour for his strike partner after 25 minutes when he beat Tyler Cordner for pace and teed up McClure to find the roof of the net.
