Greenock Morton 1-2 Partick Thistle: Jags move out of relegation zone

Manager Ian McCall dedicated Partick Thistle's win at Morton to late club owner Colin Weir after the Jags moved out of the relegation zone.
It was announced on Friday that Weir had died at 71 after a short illness.
Alexander Jones struck to give Thistle the advantage but Kyle Jacobs levelled from the penalty spot following Reece Cole's challenge on Reece Lyon.
Thomas O'Ware's shot gave Partick the lead again after the break as Morton replaced Thistle in ninth place.
David Hopkins' side, who have a game in hand, are two points above Alloa Athletic in the Scottish Championship and two below McCall's men.
Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall: "It is, undoubtedly, from all at Partick Thistle dedicated to Colin Weir. The three points, is it really that big a thing? I think with the way Colin supported Partick Thistle it is a big thing so we're delighted to do that.
"We've only lost two in nine games. They're doing well, they're working ever so hard and we're finishing games strong. It should've been far more comfortable today. We were the better team for 80% of the game. It's a great three points."
