Celtic winger Scott Sinclair's loan move to Preston North End is imminent after he had a medical with the English Championship club on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old left Celtic's Dubai training camp to return to the UK for talks after the clubs agreed a deal.

Sinclair, out of contract this summer, has played just seven games this term.

"Scott has had a great time here but wanted to play more and Preston are giving him that opportunity," said Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

Sinclair joined in August 2016 and was part of Celtic's treble treble success, winning the PFA Scotland player of the year award in his debut campaign.
