Shrewsbury Town have signed goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne from Wolves and brought in Southampton right-back Kayne Ramsay on loan until the end of the season.

Ramsay, 19, who made his league debut against Manchester City in December 2018, played against Derby in the FA Cup last season.

Shropshire-born Burgoyne, 23, who began at Ludlow Town, has signed a short-term deal until the end of the campaign.

His eight first-team appearances all came in Wolves' Championship days.

He was in goal when Wolves beat Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup fourth round in 2017.

But he has not figured since winning promotion to the Premier League in 2019 and was loaned last season to Falkirk.

That was one of six loan deals Burgoyne enjoyed during his 11 years on the books at Molineux - at Lowestoft, Corby Town, AFC Telford United, Barnet and Plymouth Argyle.
