Bromley 0-1 Sutton United

Omar Bugiel's first-half strike saw Sutton end a run of five games without a win as they beat Bromley at Hayes Lane.

It was a seventh defeat in their past eight games for Bromley and they have now dropped three points off the play-off places, having been top at the beginning of November.

The hosts enjoyed some early pressure, but it was Sutton who broke the deadlock in the 16th minute against the run of play.

Bugiel drilled home with the U's first shot on target of the game.

Bromley coach Alan Dunne was sent in the stands in the 61st minute as his side pressed for an equaliser, but Sutton held firm as first keeper Nikola Tzanev turned aside Luke Coulson's shot and then Adrian Clifton shot narrowly wide.

Coulson was denied an equaliser 17 minutes from time when his close-range effort was turned away by the U's number keeper.
