National League leaders Barrow moved eight points clear at the top of the table with victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.

With second-placed Harrogate in FA Trophy action, Barrow took full advantage to take another step towards the Football League for next season.

All the goals came in the opening half an hour. Tom White was quickest off the mark to put the hosts ahead in the sixth minute, converting from Dan Jones' throw but Alex Reid equalised for the Daggers four minutes later when he fired home after a neat one-two with Angelo Balanta.

John Rooney saw his 27th-minute penalty saved by Elliot Justham but just a minute later Barrow regained the lead through Patrick Brough when he drilled the ball home from Dior Angus' cross.
