Wrexham ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a point at home to Covid-hit Barnet in the National League.

The hosts dominated the first half with defender Fiacre Kelleher heading over from Elliott Durrell's corner.

Alex McQueen's free-kick drew a smart save from Wrexham keeper Rob Lainton after the break.

Lainton denied Josh Walker in stoppage time and secure a point for Wrexham who are 13th in the table.

Barnet, still without manager Peter Beadle and a number of players because of positive coronavirus tests, drop down to 14th.

Wrexham manager Dean Keates said:

"We started bright. Long periods of the game we were in control, we need to take our chances better.

"We've conceded eight in the last two games so we had to put building blocks to go forward on. A clean sheet is a positive for us.

"They had a young keeper in goal and we didn't test him enough for our liking."
