Nottingham Forest have extended Anthony Knockaert's loan from Fulham until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The 29-year-old French winger has scored one goal and had one assist in 16 games, six from the bench, since moving from Craven Cottage in October.

Forest boss Chris Hughton says Knockaert offers "something different" to the other wide players at the club.

"He's certainly given us something," Hughton told BBC Radio Nottingham. "He's started to have more influence."

Knockaert initially joined on loan from Premier League side Fulham until the start of January.

Meanwhile, defender Nicholas Ioannou has left Forest to join Greek side Aris Thessaloniki on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old joined from APOEL in September but has made just five appearances. He was sent off in his most recent outing against Luton in October.
