Sutton United were denied top spot in the National League as they were held at home by play-off chasing Wrexham.

Chances were few and far between for both sides although late in the game Wrexham's Jordan Davies shot straight at Dean Bouzanis.

At the opposite keeper Christian Dibble gathered Omar Bugiel's header in stoppage time.

Sutton remain second in the table and level on points with leaders Torquay while Wrexham are fifth.

Wrexham manager Dean Keates said:

"You come here and you know it's going to be difficult game. They're strong, they're physical and they're organised.

"We were more than worthy of the clean sheet and the point.

"It's more than a job well done, a good solid point and we go again on Tuesday night."
