Manchester City made it 12 Women's Super League wins on the spin as they cruised to victory over Tottenham Hotspur at The Hive.

The first goal came after just four minutes when Chloe Kelly scored direct from a corner, which went in off Spurs keeper Becky Spencer for an own goal.

Janine Beckie then found the bottom corner to make it 2-0 on 38 minutes.

Beckie created the third when she went down the left and crossed for Kelly to tap back to Caroline Weir.

City stay second, two points behind leaders Chelsea, who hammered Birmingham City 6-0 - the two sides face each other in their next fixture.

They are scheduled to meet in a top-of-the-table match in Manchester on Sunday, 25 April.

Tottenham's third defeat in five games keeps them in eighth - four points ahead of ninth-placed Birmingham and seven clear of bottom club Aston Villa.

Spurs are also not back in action until 25 April, after the international break and FA Cup weekend, when they travel to Manchester United.
