Livingston: Exeter's Tom Parkes signs as James Penrice joins from Partick Thistle

Livingston have signed Exeter City centre-back Tom Parkes after adding defender James Penrice from Partick Thistle, with forward Scott Tiffoney moving to Firhill.
Penrice played for the West Lothian club on loan in the 2017-18 campaign.
Tiffoney departs David Martindale's side after a loan spell with League 1 champions Thistle last season, scoring seven goals in 13 games.
Parkes, 29, played 74 times for English League Two outfit Exeter.
The former Leicester City youth, who was released by the Devon side last month, has signed a 12-month deal with incentives that could keep him at the club for three years.
"Tom is an excellent signing having played close to 400 professional games," said Martindale.
"A real no-nonsense defender who is a leader on the park, aggressive in both boxes and has a very good left foot."
On Penrice, he added: "James will bring a host of qualities.
"He did extremely well with us in 2017-18 and, ever since, I've kept a close eye on his development.
"Tiffoney needed to get out and play every week and he has shown while on loan at Thistle that he can score goals. All in all, I think it's a very good bit of business for both clubs and most importantly, both players."
Meanwhile, striker Scott Robinson, who was released by Livingston after falling out of favour with Martindale in March, has joined relegated Kilmarnock along with defender Jack Sanders, previously of Wigan Athletic, and midfielder Blair Alston, who left Falkirk.
