Ayr United 2-2 Arbroath: David Hopkin's side fight back to draw
- Published
Ayr United and Arbroath claimed their first points of the Scottish Championship season after the hosts came from two down to grab a point.
The visitors were in control before the half hour. First Joel Nouble curled in a wonderful effort, then a Michael McKenna cross caused indecision and nestled in the back of the net.
Nicky Low missed a chance to seal the win when he crashed a spot kick off the bar, and Ayr took advantage. Tomi Adeloye netted with 20 minutes left before Mark McKenzie equalised.
