Partick Thistle made it two wins out of two in the Scottish Championship as they beat Dunfermline Athletic in Fife.

Thistle captain Ross Docherty scored an early opener when he sent a glancing header beyond goalkeeper Denis Mehmet.

Kevin Holt headed in a second, but Dunfermline had chances in the second half with substitute Craig Wighton and Nikolay Toderov coming close.

But the points were secured when Ross Graham deflected a cross into his own net.

Toderov did have a late chance for a consolation for the home side but Harry Stone pulled off a wonderful stop in the visitors goal.
