Greenock Morton 2-3 Queen of the South: visitors get first win after thriller
- Published
Queen of the South grabbed their first win of the Scottish Championship season with a thrilling victory against Greenock Morton at Cappielow.
Ally Roy missed a penalty but turned in the rebound to put Queen's in front, before Kyle Jacobs brought Morton level.
But an own goal from Jacobs and Ruben Soares' strike put the visitors back in control.
Morton could not haul themselves level despite Sol Brynn's late own goal.
However, they remain fifth, one point ahead of Queen of the South in sixth place after three games.
