Queen of the South leapfrogged opponents Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship thanks to Lee Connolly's impressive strike.
Connolly managed to beat several players before firing home on 12 minutes at Stark's Park.
The visitors went on to secure just a second league victory as they move up to fifth place.
Raith, meanwhile, sit in sixth with just one win from their four league games so far.
