Dario Zanatta's fifth goal of the season gave Raith Rovers a narrow Scottish Championship victory against Greenock Morton at Cappielow.
The Canadian forward fired home from 16 yards after picking up Ethon Varian's fine pass.
Zanatta and Ross Matthews had chances to add to Raith's lead, while goalkeeper Jamie Macdonald denied Morton's Lewis Strapp.
Raith sit fifth after their victory, while Morton are eighth.
Morton manager Gus MacPherson: "They are a great group and they work very y hard on a daily basis. We had four players missing who would be there or thereabouts in the team. On another day we could maybe score two or three."
Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn: "We're delighted with the win here, [to make it] back-to-back wins after Somerset Park. They are two places that are never easy so we are delighted. We like to be a little bit more pleasing on the eye, it was more of an ugly win, but a very important one."
