Second-half goals from Josh Kay and Josh Gordon saw Barrow come from behind to beat Newport County at Holker Street.
The visitors took the lead after 10 minutes, Finn Azaz beating Paul Farman to score his first goal for the club.
Just after the hour mark, Kay's right footed shot drew the hosts level before Gordon won it with 12 minutes left.
Victory sees Barrow leapfrog Newport and move up to eighth, while County drop to 14th in League Two.
Newport County manager Mike Flynn told BBC Sport Wales: "Second half performance was nowhere near good enough.
"We let ourselves down and they've let those supporters down who travelled up tonight.
"We were outfought, outplayed, sat too deep and gave easy passes away - everything we didn't do in the first half."
