Raith Rovers 2-1 Arbroath: Hosts up to the second
- Published
Raith Rovers climbed to second place in the Scottish Championship with victory at home to Arbroath.
Dylan Tait scored early on from Aidan Connolly's pass, and Ross Matthews doubled the lead just before half-time when he headed in a cross.
Anton Dowds pulled a goal back for the visitors deep into stoppage time.
However, it was not enough to stop Rovers winning for the eighth time in 11 matches in all competitions, while Arbroath slip to fifth.
