Queen of the South 0-0 Morton: Visitors stay off bottom after holding hosts to draw
- Published
Morton remain a point off the foot of the Scottish Championship after holding Queen of the South to a goalless draw.
Both sides struck the woodwork in the first half, as Willie Gibson hit a post from a free-kick and Robbie Muirhead clipped the bar.
Lee Connolly forced Jack Hamilton into a fine stop after the break before the visiting keeper almost fumbled in a long-range strike from Gibson.
But the away side held on to earn a point, meaning the hosts stay seventh.
