Kilmarnock 4-0 Queen of the South: Oli Shaw double puts side two points clear in Championship
- Published
Kilmarnock moved two points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship as Oli Shaw's double ensured a convincing with over Queen of the South.
The striker headed in from close range after 17 minutes to score for a fifth game in a row.
Shaw then found the net via the inside of a post after the break before substitute striker Callum Hendry added the third after a fine solo run.
Hendry then set up winger Chris Burke to fire the fourth.
Kilmarnock's fourth consecutive win was also the visitors' fourth defeat in a row on their travels and the Dumfries side have still not won at Rugby Park since a Scottish Cup triumph in February 1989.
