Arbroath 4-2 Dunfermline Athletic: Pars squander two-goal lead to remain bottom and winless

Dunfermline Athletic remain bottom and winless in the Scottish Championship after squandering an early two-goal lead before losing to Arbroath.

Strikes by forward Kevin O'Hara fired Peter Grant's side two ahead within 12 minutes at Gayfield Park.

But centre-half Thomas O'Brien converted a Michael McKenna corner soon after, before the striker's free-kick drew them level ahead of the break.

Bobby Linn's long ranger was then followed by a McKenna penalty.

McKenna has now scored in three consecutive games - netting five goals in five - as Dick Campbell's side completed an emphatic double over his former club after their 3-0 win at East End Park in August to stay third in the table.

It leaves the visitors without a win in 14 games, minus an away victory for more than a year and now two points adrift of Greenock Morton, who drew away to Hamilton Academical.
