Partick Thistle 0-0 Inverness CT: Visitors fall behind at top as hosts are goalless for third game
- Published
Inverness Caledonian Thistle slip two points behind Kilmarnock at the top of the Scottish Championship after being held by Partick Thistle.
Sean Welsh had the chance to win it for the visitors when Lewis Mayo was adjudged to have fouled winger Aaron Dorans in the box after 61 minutes.
But goalkeeper Jamie Sneddon saved the midfielder's spot kick as Thistle played out a third straight 0-0 draw.
Since they thumped Hamilton 6-1, they have gone 270 minutes without scoring.
However, although they slip four points behind fourth-top Raith Rovers, Ian McCall's side are now unbeaten in four while Billy Dodds' visitors are without a victory in three games.
