Hibs: Managerial appointment 'not far away' - owner Ron Gordon

Hibernian are "not too far away" from appointing a new manager, confirmed owner Ron Gordon, with Shaun Maloney set to be appointed on Monday.
Gordon says Hibs are "at a crossroads" after the sacking of Jack Ross 10 days before the Scottish League Cup final.
David Gray lead the team as they lost 2-1 to Celtic as the club near agreement with Belgium assistant and former Scotland player Maloney.
"We're working on it, we've put in a lot of diligent work," said Gordon.
"Certainly an appointment is not too far away. I won't do that that [confirm name], we'll keep it a surprise for now."
Gordon, speaking at Hampden prior to the final, added that he is "excited about the outlook" for Hibs after a "challenging couple of weeks."
"Today is a delineating point," he said. "This chapter closes today with a performance at Hampden. We've made a lot of progress, which is great, and are ready to move on."
The final was first-team coach and former captain Gray's third game in interim charge since Ross was dismissed.
Hibs will be getting a "football guy" and "attacking manager" if they appoint Maloney, says former boss John Hughes.
It has been reported that Maloney would bring former Hibs defender Gary Caldwell as his assistant.
"If it is Maloney, he's a quiet kind of guy," Hughes said on Sportsound. "But you need that personality and if it's not you doing that, you need a number two that can laugh at himself, get a bit of fun, and knows the game and is a good coach.
"If that is Shaun Maloney it will be important who his number two is."
