Arbroath 2-2 Hamilton Academical: Late penalty extends Arbroath's lead at top
- Published
Arbroath extended their Scottish Championship lead to five points after a late Michael McKenna penalty earned a point against Hamilton Academical.
Accies led through Daniel O'Reilly, but Nicky Low's penalty cancelled it out before Andrew Ryan's goal put the visitors ahead for a second time.
But Brian Easton's foul on Jack Hamilton earned the late spot kick.
It means Dick Campbell's part-time side edge another point in front of nearest challengers Kilmarnock.
Meanwhile, Hamilton stay sixth.
