Charlton 0-1 Norwich: Milot Rashica fires Canaries through in FA Cup

Milot Rashica's strike with 10 minutes remaining edged Premier League Norwich City past League One Charlton Athletic and into the FA Cup fourth round.
Rashica tapped home Teemu Pukki's cross from close range to settle a tie that was high on effort but low on quality.
Charlton defender Ben Purrington hit the bar as the Addicks pushed for a leveller, but the Canaries held on.
It is only Norwich's fourth win of the season in all competitions and ends a run of five straight league defeats.
This was Norwich's first game of 2022 after their New Year's Day match against Leicester City was postponed because of injuries and a Covid outbreak in the Canaries squad.
That enforced break allowed a number of players to return to fitness, with Dean Smith able to recall five players including goalkeeper Tim Krul and captain Grant Hanley.
However it was Charlton, 14th in League One, who had the better of the first half, with Elliott Lee curling just wide from distance before his cross from the left was fired over by Jonathan Leko.
Smith made a triple change at half time, bringing on Brandon Williams, Rashica and Pukki in an attempt to change the momentum of the game.
It was Charlton who went close again next though, with the impressive Lee having a shot from a tight angle well saved by Krul.
The game looked to be drifting towards extra time before Pukki was released down the right, drew goalkeeper Henderson and crossed for Rashica to finish into an open net for his maiden Norwich goal.
Purrington's added-time header from six yards that hit the bar after Norwich failed to clear a free-kick into the box was the closest Charlton came to equalising.
